Battery Ventures invests $29M in Guardsquare

US-based Battery Ventures invests $29 million in our SF Atelier member Guardsquare the global reference in mobile application protection.

Fun fact: Battery Ventures also invested in Belgian data company, Collibra, AKA the first Belgian unicorn.

Guardsquare specializes in the security of mobile apps. Rakels, software programmer, founded the company with her friend Eric Lafortune. Four years later, Guardsquare has forty employees and an office in San Francisco, and Deloitte has declared the company the fastest growing tech start-up in the country.
