Manage a team of engineers, build, retain, and motivate a high-performing team
Work with delivery team to develop schedule, track progress, identify and remedy problems, and deliver product releases
Improve SDLC by suggesting practices that increase team efficiency and effectiveness
Be the “go-to” person, provide technical direction and business guidance to the team
Work with product managers to ensure optimal product designs
Assist with development tasks, and participates in architecture and design meetings
Serve as an escalation point of technical issues found in product releases or for the product in development related to the managed team
Perform other related duties as required
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
8+ years of experience in .Net software development
1+ year of experience as dev manager; ideal candidates should have been in an architect or tech lead role for a few years before moving into managerial role.
Expert-level understanding of SOA, OOD, AOP, design patterns, and programming principles
Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, dependency injection framework
Working knowledge of SQL and RDBMS, MS SQL Server preferred
Experience with REST web services
Experience with agile development
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Creative, industrious, and passionate
Prior experience with IRT or a related eClinical Field
