The Advertising Specialist is responsible for supporting the Advertising Manager with the execution of all local advertising campaigns. The Advertising Specialist is also responsible for the management and execution of all local paid social campaigns – serving as resource for the entire BU Marketing team. This includes working with Red Bull’s social media agencies and/or directly within social platforms while following RBNA’s established paid social processes, guidelines and best practices to ensure effective strategies and flawless execution. The Specialist will need to establish an in depth understanding of the local consumer and their media consumption habits to help create maximum impact with our target audience. The position will work closely with the National Advertising team to champion local advertising initiatives while ensuring all Red Bull advertising standards are met.

Your experience includes:

- 2+ years advertising experience, specifically managing paid social campaigns
- Extensive knowledge of all social ad platforms with experience in both execution and reporting
- Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation
- Strong analytical capabilities with an emphasis on understanding the emerging digital landscapes
- Precise attention to detail
- Sound strategic thinking capabilities and the ability to anticipate trends and turn insights into action
- Strong planning, prioritization and project management competencies
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team

- Live and represent the Red Bull Brand
- Bachelor’s Degree required

- Support BU Advertising Manager in development of media and creative briefs for Local campaigns
- Collect local consumer and media insights as well as past campaign learnings/best practices to augment briefs
- Liaise with National Advertising team to ensure Local campaigns leverage National and Global strategies and best practices
- Ensure local campaign learnings are tracked, benchmarked and shared with National Advertising team
- Support Advertising Manager with project management to ensure all campaigns are executed as planned – on time and on budget
- Assist in production/adaptation of creative assets as needed (OOH, Radio, digital display, social, WebTV, SEM, TV)
- Ensure creative meets brand standards
- Vet all creative through mandatory legal process for proper ATL clearance purposes
- Support Advertising Manager with the implementation and testing of all ad ops and tracking requirements (DMP Pixels, RBCIDs, Ticketing data integration, etc.)
- Responsible for DMP requests/set up for local campaigns
- Work with local team and ticketing partners to implement pixels/tags, trouble shoot issues, ensure proper agreements are signed
- Ensure performance data is being captured and ultimately feeding into PESO dashboard


- Responsible for execution of all local paid social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat
- Work closely with BU Marketing stakeholders to develop local paid social plans for Brand, Sports and Culture content (follow established processes for planned, anticipated and reactive paid social needs)
- Work with HQ Advertising to ensure local teams are following National paid social strategies, standards and best practices
- Ensure all ads are FTC complaint, legally approved and follow brand guidelines
- Ensure all creative is uploaded accurately in Social Creative Matrix
- Responsible for whitelisting influencers, artists or athletes as needed
- Responsible for ongoing campaign tracking according to specified guidelines
- Ensure RAMP is updated accordingly
- Execute ongoing optimization during all campaigns and leverage performance data to shape future campaigns
- Communication of all key learnings and results to be shared monthly with all necessary internal stakeholders
- Responsible for paid social budget management for all local paid social campaigns – ensuring invoices are paid on time and spends are accurately tracked
- Ensure BU remains ahead of the curve for all Paid Social innovation, utilizing Beta opportunities when available and appropriate
