- J1 VISA
The BACC has been designated by the U.S. Department of State as an Exchange Visitor Program sponsor and is permitted to issue a “Certificate of Eligibility” (Form DS-2019) to qualified Belgian students and young professionals, allowing them to train in the U.S. under a J1 Visa in the field of Management, Business, Commerce and Finance. Under the Fulbright-Hayes Act, the BACC also is required to recruit American interns and trainees to train in Belgium.
- We create business opportunities by sharing networks, providing entries and organizing top quality events, seminars, luncheons and business card exchange receptions. Our Chamber has 1 mantra: Making Belgian-US ventures successful. For this purpose we always organize strategic events that tackle a number of your main strategic needs and goals. - The BACC is not only a facilitator of business, but also a guide to other trade bodies promoting Belgian-US trade and investments as a result of our close relationship with the Belgian Consulate General in New York and the three Belgian regional trade organizations (Brussels, Flanders and Wallonia). We also coordinate activities and events with the AmCham Belgium, local Belgian chambers of commerce as well as the other European chambers of commerce located in New York.
