Wim Dejonghe joined Allen & Overy as a partner in 2001 having previously been a partner at Loeff Claeys Verbeke since 1993. He has practised law in the United States (New York and Washington) and in Spain (Barcelona). He received his law degree from the University of Louvain (KUL) in 1984 and subsequently worked as a research assistant at the University of Louvain (KUL) at the International and European Law Department. He was Managing Partner of Allen & Overy's Belgium offices and Co-Head of the Global Corporate Department before becoming Global Managing Partner of Allen & Overy in 2008.

Belgian Captain Session with Paul Stoffels, M.D., Worldwide Chairman, Janssen, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson. Through this captain session, we hope to get to know Dr. Stoffels a bit better and discover the person behind the manager. Dr. Stoffels is leading the expansion of the pharmaceutical group through R&D, partnerships and acquisitions. Dr. Stoffels was named Company Group Chairman in 2006, with responsibility for worldwide research and development. From 1997 until 2002, Dr. Stoffels was Chairman of Tibotec and Chief Executive Officer of Virco, 2 biotech companies based in Belgium. He continued to lead the organizations after their acquisition by Johnson & Johnson, first as President of Tibotec and later as Company Group Chairman for the Virology franchise. Before he assumed responsibility for the infectious disease drug development at Janssen in Beerse, he began his career as a physician in Africa, focusing on HIV and tropical diseases research.

The Atlanta Chapter of BelCham (Belgian American Chamber of Commerce) and the Netherlands American Chamber of Commerce (NACCSE) are proud to present the second Benelux dinner event, this time at Atlanta's new international gateway.
The event highlights are:
• An exclusive behind the scenes tour of the new international terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, two months before the terminal will be fully operational and open to the public.
• Speaker for this evening is Gretchen Corbin, Deputy Commissioner, Global Commerce, Georgia Department of Economic. She will talk about the development of Dutch, Belgian and Luxembourg trade and investment ties over the last 20 years and the impact on Georgia's economy.

Manor currently has a solo show at Gallery Fortlaan in Ghent and a group show at the Hermitage Museum in Amsterdam. He was nominated for the “Prix de la Jeune Peinture Belge” award at the Bozar in Brussels in 2011 and was also awarded the BNP Paribas Young Talent Award. This will be Manor’s first show in the United States.
Highlight Gallery presents contemporary art curated by country. The artists it represents have had gallery, institutional, art fair and print exposure in their home country and abroad. Highlight Gallery expands their exposure internationally through art fairs, and in San Francisco through its gallery.

invite you to the exeptional revival of "Brel is Alive Again" at the Triad Theater in NYC.
Mort Shuman, a reknowned American composer, saw Brel perform in Paris in mid 60s and fell in love with his music.
He met Brel and when he came back to the US, Shuman collaborated with friend and poet Eric Blau to translate many of the songs to English with Brel's permission.
They mounted a show called Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris in NYC's Greenwich village on Bleeker Street at The Village Gate and the show ran
for four years! The building to this day has a Brel landmark sign.
