The New England chapter of the Belgian American Chamber of Commerce (BelchamNE) was founded in October 2010 with the vision to develop an entrepreneurial united Belgian brand and to implement a successful communication network between all Belgian-American entrepreneurs.
Pierre Dodion (President, BelchamNE) is Senior Vice President of ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Cambridge, MA) where he had been in charge of the clinical research program before being appointed head of corporate development. Prior to this assignment, Pierre worked at several major pharmaceutical companies, including Pfizer, Novartis and Aventis.
Born in Brussels, he earned his medical degree and specialty degree in Oncology at the Free University of Brussels, Belgium, and an MBA degree at St Joseph University in Philadelphia, PA. Pierre has been living in the US since 2000.
Maxime Housiaux (Vice-President) is specialized in PR and communications. Prior to moving to Boston, he led the Sponsoring department at BNP Paribas Fortis, negotiating all partnerships of the bank in the fields of Sports, Culture, Economy and Lobbying. He also worked for 5 years as account manager at Dialogic, a communication agency based in Brussels and specialized in sports marketing, PR and lobbying. Maxime holds a MA in Communications and Journalism from the Free University of Brussels and a certificate in strategy and leadership from INSEAD.
