UNIVEG Hot Cuisine America received the 1st Entrepreneurship Award, presented each year to a company that shows insight into the US market, endurance, marketing success and environmental awareness. UNIVEG Hot Cuisine America received this award, in part, for demonstrating its commitment to offering high quality products using a state of the art production process.

As in 2009, the Belgian-American Chamber of Commerce will honor both Belgian and US small and medium-sized enterprises in the US market with the following attributes: best product and/or service, most powerful venture and business plan. A high-profile jury will review the applications and select entrepreneurs who have demonstrated market insight, ability to seize a unique opportunity and endurance in capturing a part of the US market. By applying for "The Belcham Entrepreneurship Awards", the winner will have access to unique opportunities for press coverage, networking and exposure both in Belgium and the US.

The Awards show proof of the need and role the Belcham will play in the future as ambassador of Belgian successful entrepreneurship. Many top captains of industry mixed up with young professionals, both American and Belgian, from all over the US. Professional, entrepreneurial, positive, meaningful, and at the same time warm and modest. These were the words that reflected last year's Gala Night. Also features that unite our 2 great countries, Belgium and the US.

The event will be attended by all key players defining our Belgian-American corporate image, including our consular representatives and Ambassadors. The most effective press and television coverage will be guaranteed.

The black-tie gala will take place at the Harvard University Club, midtown Manhattan.
